The information I have came in the mid 1990's from Bill C. Perkins, Jr., Knoxville, Tenn. He provided an extensive file of Perkins family information. With regard to the Gettysburg wounding of Lynville Perkins, Bill wrote that the information came from a letter written by Orlando Davidson.
