Once again Mr. Martin you amaze me
researching Ambrose West's death in the trenches has brought me to the very sad conclusion that Ambrose's son Benjamin West witnessed his father's death he stayed at his side untill his father faded away....I can't imagine what that must have ben like to see his father die.
Because of all my research on the "civil" war I must say without a doubt in my mind that the confederate soldier was THE BEST breed of soldier America has EVER produced and I DO NOT CARE what any one has to say about that. do you agree?
