Here's a very scholarly and interesting thread, on the "old" message board about the little-known actions at Watkins' House (Farm) and Skinner's Farm near Petersburg, VA; Mar 15, '65. The primary participants were Dr. Art Bergeron and Alan Pitts.

The battle at Watkins' House included the 49th AL.
