Thanks for the tip on the reenactment and the answer about my question pertaining to actions near Tallassee. I am a reenactor, but have not been to hardly any in several years due to my schedule. But I might try to make it.
By the way, do you know exactly where the actual action took place, this "Battle of Cheaha"? I have read that a group of Confederates was attacked just east of Tallasse in late 1864 or 1865, but don't know the exact location.
One more thing, do you belong to a reenactment unit? If so, what is the unit?
