This is the last responce I will make on this issue.

I have enjoyed this board because it is an unbiased (for the most part) discussion of the event of 1860-1865. I do sincerly hope that it can remain above petty sectional prejudices (as occurred in 1860) that tend to dominate some other sites.

Of all the post that I have followed on this board, few have tried to further ANY agenda - north or south. I have enjoyed the lack of any emotionally charged post that only try to inflame passions and not further calm discussions and historical questions.

My ancestors fought on both sides of this war and I welcome any viewpoint, reguardless of if they agree or disagree with me. Debate is welcome to any thread and only enriches all; however blind disagreement and personal attacks only diminshes the author.
