I have often thought of posting on this subject (ghosts of the dead soldiers), but have been hesitant to do so! Now that you have raised it (the question, not the ghost of the dead), I'd like to ask others if they have had any experience with unusual occurances, say on battlefields or cemeteries or associated with some relic.

*If* there are such thing as ghosts, and *if* their reason for existence is an untimely death or unfinished business as is theorized, it seems to me that the Civil War would have produced as many or more ghosts than any other event.

Thoughts? Stories? Too far off topic for the board?
