Can anyone tell me what happened to the 2nd Calvary ? I'm assuming there unit was combined with another. I've been to the public library searching info from micro films but they donot have one on the 2nd. My GGGreatgrandfather is supposed to have served in this regiment. From what i've been able to gather he enlisted at Camp Lomax in Florida but he was from Georgia and served in the 2nd Al. calvary.
