I checked the service records that I have for the 15th Confederate Cav. and find a Pvt. C. L. Durant, Pvt. N. B. Durant, and Pvt. W. H. Durant all who served in Co. C. of the 15th. They all were surrendered at Citronelle in May of 1865. Their residence is shown as Baldwin County, Alabama. No Joseph, sorry. I hope this helps. Art Green.
