Also, family information, although undocumented, states the he enlisted after making arrangements with a Captain D. C. Kelley at Rock Springs church in Marshall County. If I could find any rocord of him on a muster roll etc, this would cinch this. I am not trying to get into the SCV, etc., just trying to hunt down my family history. Any other information will be greatly appreciated.
