Thanks for the info James. I've been looking for an Alabama winter camp in the vicinity of negro run. Story has it that after 1st or second Manassas an Alabama unit camped here. This Negro Run is near Bristersburg which is in Fauquier Co. I first heard the story from a fellow relic hunter, but have since heard the same story from a person that grew up there and negro run is on his property.I've hunted his property with no success. The 1st person that told me the story said he heard it from a person that read it in a book but couldn't remember the name of it.Again James I thank you for your response.
