Wm C Davis was born in Madison County, Al at New Market..He is buried at the Mount Paran Campground Cemetery in New Market...sorry...his widow was Mary..he died 1863..thank you all...I thought he was from the 8th Al Inf. or maybe Cav.. I remember how hard it was to find his record..but then I found the widow's pension.. we want to mark his gravesite at Mount Paran with an appropriate marker..
