W.W.Sanders, 8th. Conf.Cavalry

Perhaps someone can shed some light on this individual. All I have been able to obtain are:
1. A card from the archives showing that a claim was filed April 20, 1963 by Jordan Sanders, father of W. W. Sanders, Co. I, 8th. Confed. Cav. The reason for the claim is not noted.
2. Probate records from Chambers County regarding settlement of "Estate of Wilson W. Sanders" stating that he died about March 13, 1963.

Does anyone have any records on the 8th. Confederate Cavalry that may show where and how Private W.W. Sanders may have died?
His brother, Rufus F. Sanders (my g-grandfather) was in same unit. His brothers, Jasper T. and Julius H. Sanders, fought with the 47th. Al. His brother-in-law, Lt. Henry Cox, died at Fredericksburg (or Salem Church) with the 14th. AL. His brother-in-law, James L. Payne, also rode with the 8th. Confed. Cav., was captured and died in prison at Ft. Chase in Ohio.
A lot of history here and I would love to close the loop on Private W.W. Sanders. Any help certainly appreciated.
