In all probability that is a parole; records show
Pvt Enoch F. Sikes, 11th Ala Inf, no company
given was paroled at Appomattox, Va between April
9 and 15, 1865; he is shown on the Broadfoot list
as having served in Co I; Pvt John Sykes, Co I,
26th Ala Inf died Aug 18, 1862 and is buried
in Hollywood Cemetery at Richmond.
