This is an absolutely appropriate posting. If it has anything to do with Alabama or its citizenry in the war its acceptable on this board.

The length is fine, too. In fact I've setup the board for fairly large messages. It's best that folks keep their messages as concise as possible, but your posting isn't even close to being too long.
