I suspect that Moses J.'s record was sent along "just in case" it was the same person. There may even be an indication in Moses J.'s file that he was from Pickens County.

However, I don't think that this is your Joseph. I have him as "Joseph A." also known as "James".

I would call ADAH and see if I could find out who assembled this for you, and ask them why they thought this was related.
