There is another family very similar to the Krebs' brothers in Louisiana. The five (5) Womack Brothers, (Daniel, Jesse, Richard, Robert and Wiley) also 1/2 Choctaw of the 28th (Gray's) Louisiana Infantry, Co.K. Though they all are shown as deserters in 1863 on the NARA records, their pension records and the surrender records show they were all there to the end.
