Thanks for the information. I was hoping that since he had a Masonic Funeral, it might be easier to find, but I don't know what Lodge he was a member of. There were several Lodges chartered during the Civil War and he very well could have received his degrees somewhere other than Alabama. Again, thanks for the info.
