Yes, I know there is a discrepancy there (Co. H or Co. B). A researcher found him on the microfilm of Civil War soldiers in the Birmingham library - and apparently that's the only place he's listed in Co. B. I know about Zachariah, but as yet, do not know the connection between him and Jacob. The only siblings I have thus far of Jacob's are: Mary, David, and Rufus. I believe Rufus was also in the Civil War (and David could have been, too), but I do not know any specifics.
