Charleston, Atlanta and British cartridges

Anyone familiar with these? Records of Maj. E. B. D. Riley, ordnance officer of Hardee's Corps, Army of Tennessee, includes results of target practices using these cartridges.

Also, on June 30, 1864, Maj. Riley issued the following arms: 280 Enfields, 83 Austrians, 10 Milledgeville, 32 Harper's Ferry, as well as 200 hand grenades and six hand grenade belts. I've never seen records of grenades being issued to Confederate troops.

Quite a few records exist in Riley's file which give specifics of Confederate ordnance during the late 1862-mid 1864 time period, both small arms and artillery. I'll provide details if anyone's interested.
