Chad - I found a wonderful book entitled, "Arms and Equiptment of The Confederacy." Now, this ia a Time-Life Book, which generally is not accepted as scholarly information. However, I took it with me to the Alabama Archives in Montgomery to check it's acuracy - and it went right along with the information they had. This book came in a 3-book set on the Civil War, and I found it at Barnes and Noble. YOu might try Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble.com, or visiting the store. It was not expensive - and has been a valuable help in my research. All pictures are actual photographs - no drawings - and shows every detail of their arms and equiptment.
