Does anyone have any information on a Canp of Instruction that was set up in Tuscaloosa? We do know that early in the Civil War, some new units met at Tuscaloosa for initial mustering into service. However, I have not seen any reference saying there was a permenant camp of instruction established at Tuscaloosa.

I have previously come across references to permenant camps of instruction, to instruct conscripts, at Talladega, Notasulga, and Pollard.
