Rufus Loyd Jones served with, I believe the 6th
Ark as a Lt and resigned; returned to Walker
County and served as a Lt in the 56th Ala Cav
under "Cap" Shepherd; he was, as I am, from
Cordova, Ala; seem to recall he was Mayor at
Parish following the war and is buried there.

Since the Jones' were Postmasters in Cordova
for a number of years, may be some photos etc
in the local library; if not there, more than
likely at Jasper.
