I have a Sterling Newsom b/ 1832 Alabama d/ 1914 Fort worth Tarrent Co Tx. he is buried in Oakwood Cemetery Ft. Worth
I have him as Pvt. Co. F. 51st Regt ( Partisan Rangers) Alabama Inf. when I found his family in Tx. looking for another Newsom
also buried Oakwood Cem. I found that he was listed in the 41st Tn. Regt. He was from Talladega Co and the 51st was formed
with men from Talladega Co. Al. Would someone look at his service card and see if he transfered to the Tn. Unit or was this a mistake
