Alan. I followed your suggestion and checked on-line US census records for Monroe CO. between 1880-1900 for surname Hendricks. There doesn't seem to be any obvious connections there. I could find no "Tapley Hendricks" listed. Tapley's sister did marry into an Alabama family but from what I've learned there were no children from that union named tapley.If you have other suggestions please advise.
