Alred R. Rayford, Capt Ketchum's Ala St Artillery

I am looking for info a Alfred R. Rayford, who enlisted in Captain Ketchum's Battery, Co. A, Alabama State Artillery in early 1861, was wounded at Murfreesboro December 31st, 1862, was captured in 1863, and remained a prisioner until War's end. He lived in Mobile before and after the War.
Anyone have any info on this soldier believe he was naturalized in 1855, and since he married a woman with the fine German name of Elizabeth Haus in 1866, he may have been German!
