Looking to find where my GG Grandfather John A Davis died and where he may be buried.
Found that he joined the 39th Alabama Co. B on March 10, 1862, Barbour Co Alabama. And from what I can read on the Muster Roll, one J A Davis is listed as died on what appears to be June 22, 1864. A large part of that Muster Roll is very difficult to read. Can anyone tell me of any other info, and where I can find it? He was born in 1834.
