I for one have learned a great deal about Confederate military law from your posts on the subject. It is an important topic in understanding an individual's military records as well as the organization of Confederate and Alabama military units in general. It really requires someone who has made a detailed, comprehensive study of the subject to be able to explain the finer points as you obviously have and do so well.
