Pvt. Neal McIntosh served in Co. F 21st Alabama Infantry. He enlisted at Choctaw Bluff, AL on Feb 2, 1863, was captured at Fort Gaines and died a prisoner at Ship Island, MS Nov. 16, 1864. More info available in my book "Mobile Confederates from Shiloh to Spanish Fort". There was also a N. W. McIntosh in the 21st exchanged at Ship Island in Jan 1865. Residence in Wilcox County.
