Through further research into this man's military service record, I determined that he did not serve in Co. E 10th Alabama Cavalry as was mistakenly interpreted in various documents. Instead, he served in Co. E 10th Confederate Cavalry. Once I realized that, I printed his service record in the 10th Confederate Cavalry and then also was able to get an understanding of combined units and an accurate timeline of his service.
