On this board, I found King was first assigned to Locketts Alabama City Guards, as a 3rd Lt. What I am trying to determine if he is also in the 11th Al. Inf. Co. K. There is a known photo on the Alabama archives website, that is post war of Capt. King. My soldier appears to have an enlisted uniform with a light mustache and beard so it is hard to tell.
