July 4, 1863, sent to Jackson, Miss. for exchange, subsequently paroled, receipted for issues of clothing April 30 and June 30, 1864, captured at Atlanta, Ga. July 22, 1864, received at Camp Chase, Illinois prison August 1, paroled and transferred to City Point, Va., March 2, 1865, for exchange, states he was conscripted, resident of Dutchess County, N.
