May I ask where you found this entry, I did not come across it in my searching.

"Pvt. George M. Landers of the 22nd Reg't. Ala. Vols. and Pvt. M.W. Taylor of the 44th Reg't. Ala. Vols. were received at Camp Buckner (barely legible) at Talladega, Ala. on 11 Aug (no year legible) under guard of M.J. Jellartine for desertion. They were turned over to George P. Ring, Capt. Cmdg. Camp."
