I am trying to find more information about this John McNeal as I feel he is a part of my McNeal family. All I have been able to find on him thus far is a Pension Record filed by his widow Jimima McNeal, Pension Application filed 7/31/1899 in Conecuh County for John McNeal, 3rd Confederate Regiment, Company D, Calvary, Private. I can find no other military records, thus far. Any help, suggestions greatly appreciated.
