Jesse Hughes, age 18, Private, enlisted March 1, 1862 at Tuscaloosa, born 7/2/62 in Tuscaloosa, Al, received pay for commutation of rations January 16, 1865

John Bell Hughes, Enlisted on 5/9/1861 at Pickensville, AL/June 11, 1861 at Tuscaloosa, 4th Sergeant, promoted 2nd Lt., Captain, n.d., paroled April 9 1865 at Appomattox, after the War he lived in Los Angeles, CA (1907)

Basil Manley Hughes, age 17, enlisted as a Private June 11, 1861 at Tuscaloosa, Ala., advanced to Corporal, 4th Sergeant on June 30, 1863, captured at Macon, Ga. April 20/21, 1865, resident of Northport, Ala., born in Tuscaloosa County

William W. Hughes, enlisted as a Private June 11, 1861 at Tuskaloosa, Ala., transferred to 41st Alabama March 3, 1865?

G M. Hughs, enlisted as a Private, admitted Receiving and Wayside Hospital, Richmond, Va. September 28, 1863, transferred next day to Alabama Hospital No. 1, no other records
