My questions concern Isaiah Griffin of subject Batt'n. I found his records on Fold3 but do not understand fully. He was sick within the first months of enlisting, would he have left Mobile with his unit? Was he in a prison hospital in Rome, GA when he was declared disabled? Did he die there or can you determine if he came back to Washington Co., AL? Can you tell me what his disability was? I love the way ya can look at records and tell the story of that soldier.
