I am trying to confirm/disprove that this N. Gurley is my 3rd ggf. None of the records that I found on Fold 3 give an age or date of birth. What I know about my 3rd ggf is that his name was Nicholas Gurley. He was born in 1827 at North Carolina. He was in Wilcox County, AL by 1850. He disappears after the 1860 census. On Fold 3, there is a record for N. Gurley, Private, 21st AL Inf. Co. F who enlisted 10/10/1863 at Camden. On 6/19/1864 he was admitted to Ross Hospital in Mobile and on 06/20/1864 he was transferred to General Hospital, Alabama. He died on 07/13/1864 of Dysenteria (Febris Typhoides). The remarks are: Spring Hill. Does anyone know an age or date of birth for this N. Gurley? Thank you.
