Enlisted on 3/1/1864 at Pike County, AL as a Musician.
On 3/1/1864 he mustered into "I" Co. AL 15th Infantry
He was Surrendered on 4/9/1865 at Appomattox Court House, VA
(Served as Colonel's orderly)
