I am currently at Norwich University's graduate history program. I am looking at sources - online and in-person - that would be available for Gen. Phillip Dale Roddy, "the Defender of North Alabama." Beyond general online webpages, I seek in-depth information about his life and service, i.e., books, chapters, genealogies, UDC and SCV info, military records, etc. In particular, any locations where primary sources are available would be most helpful. This information is for a prospective thesis and I will need as much help as possible. While I'm not asking anyone to do research for me, I am seeking expert opinions on sources that may not be easy to find.
