I think this may be him since the age of 43 is correct and he was a union soldier. I've checked census records and have traced him from 1850-1900. However, I have been unable to locate anything prior to 1850. My grandmother also states that he was a brother to Hiram Capps, however the family that Hiram comes from does not list James Calloway with them. Any other thoughts?
