This entry was found on the rolls of Company I of McCarver's 14th Infantry. This company later became Company B of the the 21st Arkansas. Silas Vaughan is not listed on its roll. I would say this is probably your Silas Vaughan as I recognize a lot of the names on this roll of being from what would become Sharp County.
