Thanks for trying to help. At this point in time, I do not plan to go that route, but tomorrow may be a whole new deal as I am trying to help someone else.
This John Anderson's data came from a marker so that was why I said Co. A and Bob has seemingly proved that wrong. It has been my experience with the Illinois records that they were true.
If the military people at the time did not know what happened to the man, the records indicated that also.
