Re: 15th (Johnson's) Ark Inf. Co. B

Thank you both so much for your quick response. I do believe that Lenzie Rush Meeks is my great great grandfather, and I only happened up on this recently. You see, on my great grandfather's (George Admira Meeks) death certificate, it lists his father as Andy Meeks. After searching endlessly for Andy Meeks, I have been unable to locate anything, plus, this information for the death was not given by an immediate family member. Lenzie Rush Meeks had a son, George A. which fits perfectly with my George. Also, my George has been all around the area of Taylor Co., Texas, so I believe this is a very convincing connection, as there aren't many George Meeks to be found on the Ark census. How can I find out about the pension applicaton from the state of Texas? Do I have to have a file number in order to purchase it?
