Re: Looking for grave of Abraham Shepherd

Thanks so much for the quick & accurate information on the Abraham Shepherd that I was inquiring about. I had no idea where to start looking for his grave. I searched a little further & found on someone elses webpage where they had a complete listing of names from the Little Rock National Cemetery. They had his name listed as Shepherd, Abaham. I assume that this is probably a misspelling, especially of the first name Abaham. I would guess that it's supposed to be Abraham. The name of Shepherd is sometimes spelled several different ways. This person who I previously mentioned has a business where she takes photos of tombstones. She has photographed all the tombstones in the Little Rock National Cemetery. I think that now that you've been so nice to find the actual grave, I'll have the previous person mentioned get a photo of the grave for my family history records. I live in Illinois & it would be difficult for me to get a photo of the grave myself. In my local cemetery records, there's a listing of Abraham Shepherd being buried here. There's also a metal military marker near his supposed grave. Do you think that he was moved from the National Cemetery to here or is that allowed? I'm not sure about the conflicting info. Thanks again for all of your help. Brad.
