I am seekng information on James Sutherland who was in the Confederate Army during the civil war. I am not sure where he enlisted but he lived in Jackson County Arkansas after the war. I believe he was married to Amanda Fish, a native american of the the Cherokee Tribe. They were married about 1879 in the Indian Territory.
