Hi everybody,

I've duplicated the original posting on this thread, at the Missouri Division SCV Message Board, regarding the composition of J.S. Rains' brigade at Elkhorn Tavern in September 1862. Though it appears these units were five (5) Missouri Infantry Regiments, the discussion has expanded to include the Arkansas troops in NW Arkansas at this time thanks to the participation of Dr. Bill Shea.
