I can't answer your question for you but I was very interested in your posting. I am descended from William R. Hasley (gg grandfather)who was a Pvt. in Company F of the 29th (37th) Arkansas. I have been trying to gather any additional information I can on William R. Hasley. I do have his service records and his pension application. I would appreciate any additional information you might have and will be happy to share what information I have with you.
Beyond the fact that we may be distantly related, another curiosity that I uncovered is that the surgeon who attended to William when he was shot through both thighs at St. Charles on the White River was T.S. (or I.S.)White!!!
