Bob, Francis W. Ussery appears on a report dated Laconia, Arkansas, November 28, 1861, of men enrolled in the Desha County Militia. He doesn't appear on the rolls of any other Arkansas regiment. I note that he was a physician -- I checked his name against lists of surgeon appointments in the Army of Northern Virginia, Army of Tennessee, and Trans-Mississippi Army, and can find no reference to him.
