Isn't there a Post War/Old Soldiers Reunion Picture of the 3rd Iowa Cav.in front of a large flag with their battle honors on it in the Book "Portraits of Conflict" (Arkansas) by Carl Moneyhon? It has been a long time since I have seen the book, and I could be mistaken. If I my memory serves me correctly, this unit was also engaged in a skirmish at Salem, Arkansas which is also on the flag. anyone with a copy of the book want to check that out for Steve?
