The most recent book,"A Guide Book of Southern States Currency." 2007 by Hugh Shull.Whitman Publishing Co.You probably have Criswell#56D.Rarity 7 on a scale of 1-10.Surviving Population 100-400.Average circulated value is about $110 to uncirculated at $350.

The portrait of Samuel Adams. He was a state senator, interim governor, and state treasurer of Arkansas.

There is now a collector boom period the last 6-7 years for all Confederate,Southern States and Obsolete notes.Twenty years ago, your note may have sold for 10-15 dollars. It is interesting that some choice rare Confederate notes may bring today $100,000.Even the most common will start at $30 plus.Certainly those UNreconstructed rebels and their descendents who saved the old Confederate Money would have gotten the last laugh on the federals.
