I cannot remember off the top of my head the source and I am not where I can get to any of my data. But I do have it somewhere. It may be in an article in the Benton Courier Centennial Edition of 1937 where they gave some small histories of Saline County companies in the war. It would probably be under the heading of CPT George Brown's Company as he was the initial captain of Co H. That is where I am thinking it came from but can't remember for sure.
